About Willard Ford

Willard Ford is the second child of Harrison Ford and his first wife, Mary Marquardt, born 14 May 1969. Willard Ford isn’t interested in acting, and is the owner of Ludwig Clothing Company, and Strong Sports Gym, while also co-owning the website Ford & Ching. He is the father to two, Guiliana and Eliel.

Bids to Sell Kim Sing Theatre

In 2014, Ford put up for sale his Kim Sing Theatre property in Los Angeles, that he bought in 1999. He is a pioneer of Chinatown’s renaissance in downtown L.A., and listed the 10,000-square-foot property for $4.5 million.

The theater was constructed in 1926 and was used to host movies and vaudeville performances.

Ford redesigned it with the help of XTen Architects. He created an internal courtyard, a three-tier floor, retail space, a big kitchen and an AV room, and kept intact the bow truss ceilings and initial neon cinema marquee.

For 15 years, Ford used the building as a space to host events, a fashion and furniture showroom, and as his residence. Kim Sing Theatre was utilized to host corporate events for Star Wars, Pepsi, Grammys, and BMW.

Ford shifted his marketing and sales agency, Flagship, from this building to the Fashion District in downtown L.A.

Real estate experts opined that this Chinatown property is ideal for a musician who could use it as a recording studio, or an actor who could make it their downtown base.

Sold for $3.3 Million

Kim Sing Theatre was bought from Willard Ford by Ash Pathi’s Indra and Co. business group for $3.3 million in 2016. Ford had purchased the space for $300,000.

Willard’s net worth isn’t known to the public.
