Childhood and education

Michael was raised alongside his four brothers, two younger and two older, by their father who is the owner of a small store, and their mother who was teaching English language at a local high school. Michael is of Irish, Scottish and French Canadian descent.

He became interested in acting while attending elementary school, as he was a member of the school’s drama club, and played lead roles in several plays performed at school, while he continued practicing acting upon enrolling at a high school, when he also began appearing in plays performed at a local theatre.
