Early life and education
Owen was partially raised in Connecticut by his father and his mother Robin Harris; he has a younger half-sister called Francine and a half-brother named Georgie. Owen was born when his father was 17, and after Casey decided to move to New York at the age of 20, he split from his girlfriend Robin, so Owen was later raised by Casey and his new wife Candice Pool.
Owen attended a local high school in New York, and first had the idea of following in his father’s footsteps and become involved in the film industry, however, his plans changed while attending high school, and he went on to enroll at the University of San Francisco from which he will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in business – hospitality management in the summer of 2020.

Owen launched his career by becoming an intern at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology-Media Lab in April 2015, but stayed only for a month, working on a website which consists of instructions for creating Montessori schools, and also attending public meetings.
From there he moved to Krispy Kreme, where he began working as a Sales Assistant from April 2015 to June 2016, managing his own store, training new employees, and organizing front and back of stores.
In July 2018, he became the Front Desk Agent at Grand Pequot Foxwoods Resort Casino, escorting guests around the casino, modifying reservations, and checking-in guests until October 2018, when he joined Tobin, Carberry, O’Malley, Riley & Selinger, P.C. where he stayed for four months evaluating dockets, utilizing Lexis Nexus, and organizing files.
Owen has also done some volunteering jobs, including at Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, where he was an Archives Intern archiving records of the theatre.
