While most of us know a lot about Cameron, how much do you really know about his successful wife?
Early life and Education
Chelsea Noble was born as Nancy Mueller on 4 December 1964, in Cheektowaga, New York State USA, to parents Fred and Irene Mueller. She has one sibling, an older brother named David. She went to the Maryvale High School, and after her matriculation in 1983, she enrolled at The State University of New York at the prestigious Geneseo college.
While studying, she was a member of the local sorority Phi Kappa Pi, and also played for the college’s women’s soccer team.
Noble made her first TV appearance when she was just a few months old, when she portrayed Kristina Andropolous #1 in the short-lived TV series “Days of Our Lives”. However, she didn’t really begin her career until she was 24 years old, when she made her debut in two episodes of the TV series “Full House”, which aired in 1988. That same year she portrayed Cynthia in the TV series “Who’s the Boss”.
In 1989 Noble joined the cast of the hit family TV series “Growing Pains”, appearing alongside Alan Thicke, Kirk Cameron, and Joanna Kerns, and portraying Kate MacDonald from the fourth season until the show ended in 1992. Concurrently she appeared in several more titles, such as “Instant Karma”, about a poor writer who fell in love with an actress; the horror-comedy “The Willies”; and the short TV film “A Little Piece of Heaven”, in whiche she once again joined her “Growing Pains” colleague, Kirk Cameron.
In 1993 after “Growing Pains” ended, she made a guest appearance as Rachel in an episode of the comedy series “Doogie Howser, M.D.”, starring young Neil Patrick Harris, then once again co-starred with Kirk Cameron in the romantic TV film “Star Struck”, which aired on 30 October 1994.
That same year she also made a short appearance in the TV series “Heaven Help Us”.
Noble once again joined Kirk Cameron in 1995, this time as his love interest in the comedy TV series “Kirk”, however, the show wasn’t long-lasting as it was canceled after the second season. She and Kirk also starred in the family TV film “You Lucky Dog”, which aired on 27 June 1998, and showed the life of the man who left his fortune to his dog and its psychiatrist. Noble portrayed the role of Alison Taylor. Two years later in 2000, she and Cameron appeared in the movie about Armageddon, called “Left Behind: The Movie”, and subsequently reprised the role in the film’s sequels, “Left Behind II: Tribulation Force” and “Left Behind III: World at War”.
That same year she reprised her role as Kate MacDonald, this time in an episode of “The Wonderful World of Disney” called “The Growing Pains Movie”.
In 2004, Noble would once again portray Kate MacDonald-Seaver, this time in the movie sequel of “Growing Pains” entirled “Growing Pains: Return of the Seavers”.
As of June 2020, Noble’s last film appearance happened in 2014, when she portrayed Maddie Miller in the Darren Doane’s film “Mercy Rule”, about a man whose son is attempting to make his dream of becoming a pitcher on a baseball team come true. Once again, Cameron portrayed Noble’s on-screen husband.
This was the first film in which Noble was credited under her married name, Chelsea Cameron.
