Who is Dellor?

Matt R. ‘Dellor’ Vaughn was born in Des Moines, Iowa USA, on 31 March 1988 – his zodiac sign is Aries and he holds American nationality. He is a gamer, former Twitch star and a YouTuber, who is best known for his gaming skills as he has ranked #1 in various video games.

He began playing video games at a very early age, and was always better than his friends at whatever game they were playing. This later gave him the idea of launching his Twitch account, and after gathering numerous subscribers, Dellor was made a partner and began earning money from his livestreams. While he was at the peak of his Twitch ‘career’, he was the player with most kills in the game “Player Unknown Battlegrounds”, was among the best 250 players in “Overwatch”, and ranked among the top 20 people in “World of Warcraft” – he was also one of 10 best players in “Diablo III”.

Dellor was also more or less active at high school, as he played soccer and occasionally table-tennis; on matriculating in 2006, he decided to focus on a career on the internet rather than pursue a college degree.

Career and ban from Twitch

Dellor was a professional eSports gamer who was signed to Toronto eSports. On 23 April 2017 during his “Overwatch” livestream, a player killed Dellor multiple times, and he started raging saying the n-word over 60 times, and although he later apologized, he was nevertheless let go from Toronto eSports.

Dellor became known for his raging incidents, when he would curse or break his keyboards with his forehead, and on 30 April 2019, he told a female player during his “Apex Legends” livestream to cook him a sandwich, which earned him a ban – the ban lasted for 30 days, and although Dellor also apologized, he lost all his subscribers, and the ‘subscribe’ button was removed as well as his partnership, making it impossible for Dellor to earn money on Twitch.

He became depressed and sent numerous e-mails to Twitch, and after a month, they responded, stating Dellor would get his partnership back if he could manage to go through half a year without any incidents.

On 1 October, the very day he was supposed to become a Twitch partner once again, Dellor broke his keyboard over his head, and was indefinitely suspended for self-harming.

Encouraged by his fans, Dellor started seeing a psychologist but became more stressed after sending more e-mails to Twitch to which he didn’t get any response. However, on 6 October 2020, Dellor was unbanned on Twitch.

On his livestreams and videos, Dellor has collaborated with numerous popular Twitch and YouTube stars, such as LyndonFPS, Hamlinz and 47.

Dellor is today focused on his YouTube channel, which he launched on 27 April 2009, and onto which he uploads only his gaming videos. There are nearly 750,000 people subscribed to the channel, which counts over 43 million views of all his videos combined – his currently most popular video, “I’m Sorry” has been viewed over 2.2 million times since 30 November 2019.

Love life and relationships

Dellor has been very secretive when it comes to his love life, and hasn’t talked about any girls he might have dated since the launch of his career.

It’s believed by many that he’s not really interested in having a girlfriend, as he spends nearly all of his time playing video games and doesn’t have time for a girl – there are also some who have claimed that Dellor is gay, and that this is why he doesn’t talk about girls.

He could’ve been heard flirting with girls while live-streaming on Twitch, and there are rumors circulating the internet that he was once in a relationship with a girl he met while playing “Fortnite” – according to these rumors, the two dated for several months before splitting for unknown reasons.

As of October 2020, Dellor is single, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Hobbies and other interests

Dellor usually plays video games from the moment he gets up and has breakfast, until he goes to bed, but he also has a few other interests. He is keen on helping elderly people, which is why he occasionally works as a residential assistant looking after physically and mentally challenged people.

He is also a lover of animals, who volunteered at a local animal shelter on multiple occasions during his teenage years.

He is physically not very active, and when he does go outside, he usually sits at his favorite café for a beer or coffee.

How rich is xQc (aka xQcOW)? What is his salary? Net Worth

Published

on

What is xQc’s real name?

Felix Lengyel   XQc, also known as xQcOW – was born in Laval, Quebec, Canada, on 12 November 1995 – his zodiac sign is Scorpio, he is of French descent, and holds Canadian nationality. He is a former professional “Overwatch” player, a social media star and a Twitch streamer, who is today perhaps known best for his Twitch channel onto which he mostly livestreams while playing the video game “Overwatch”.

Early life and education

XQc was raised in Laval alongside his brother Nicolas – their parents divorced when xQc was only a year old, after which the boys spent equal time with their mother and their father.

https://www.instagram.com/p/B_cBH6dJ6yw/

XQc grew up being interested in various sports, his two favorites being skateboarding and snowboarding – knowing that these sports are dangerous, his parents agreed to let him skateboard and snowboard only if he wore his knee pads and helmets. At around the same time, xQc became interested in playing video games, and often played against his peers.

Upon matriculating in 2013, xQc enrolled at the post-secondary pre-university collegiate technical college CEGEP at which he studied humanities, but then switched to administration – he dropped out just before graduation to focus on his career as a gamer and Twitch streamer.

Career as a professional gamer

XQc initially wanted to play the video game “League of Legends”, and mostly livestreamed it on Twitch, however, after learning about “Overwatch”, he began playing that instead, and soon found himself competing with and against professional e-Sport players.

He started off by playing for the semi-professional team DatZit Gaming as their main tank, and on 13 August 2016, the boys won the Dreamhack Montreal 2016 Overwatch tournament. XQc left the team not long afterwards, and moved to the team Q?, which was on 12 October 2016 bought by Denial eSports, a former professional e-Sports organization based in the US.

Denial failed to pay its players, and as xQc has stated, they owed them $2,800 each when the team disbanded. The boys went on to form their own team, calling themselves YIKES! before changing it to Arc.6 – they qualified to compete in Season Zero of Overwatch Contenders, but lost during the group stage. Their final tournament together was the Beat Invitational: Season 2 which they finished in third place.

It was announced on 28 October 2017 that xQc would be joining Dallas Fuel as their ninth player, and he played several matches before it was revealed that he had made homophobic remarks towards Austin ‘Muma’ Wilmot, a rival playing for the Houston Outlaws, during one of his Twitch streams, and was thus fined $2,000 and suspended for several matches.

The suspension was later extended, but xQc eventually returned and led Dallas Fuel to victory against the Los Angeles Gladiators. Not long afterwards, he was suspended once again for social media violations, and then announced that he was going to retire and focus solely on being a Twitch streamer. However, xQc changed his mind, and joined the team GOATS, then moved to Gladiators Legion on 2 February 2019, but left in late 2019.

He has also entered international tournaments with Team Canada, and was in 2017 named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP), however, Team Canada still lost in the finals against South Korea, the defending champion – in 2018, the team reached the quarterfinals, while they failed to pass the group stage in July 2019.

Twitch and YouTube

In 2019, xQc became a full-time streamer, and today usually spends around nine hours live-streaming every day – he was the 29th most followed streamer in October 2019, and is today the owner of one of the most subscribed to channels, with around 35,000 monthly subscribers. XQc still plays “Overwatch” but today seems more focused on testing new Steam releases, streaming while attending various gaming events such as BlizzCon and TwitchCon to show his fans how the events look. The highest number of xQc’s all-time peak viewers is today 222,720, while his record for total unique viewers in a single stream is 1,971,819 people set on 9 April 2020.

He has also become interested in chess, and occasionally streams while playing it. He began playing chess in March 2020 and, Grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura who is also a Twitch streamer decided to teach him – many streamers have since joined Chess.com, and the website then created a special chess tournament for streamers, at which xQc lost in the semi-finals.

He is also running his YouTube channel “xQcOW”, which he launched on 8 March 2015, and is today subscribed to by around 1.25 million people, and numbers around 525 million views of all xQc’s videos combined. He mostly uploads highlights of his Twitch streams, while his most popular video “xQc REACTS TO DAILY DOSE OF INTERNET | Episode 1 | xQcOW” has been watched around 3.5 million times since 19 January 2019.

Bans and suspensions

XQc was suspended twice from “Overwatch” for violating Blizzard’s terms of usage, and has been permanently banned from playing “League of Legends” – he is one of 0.006 percent of the game’s players who are considered ‘negative enough to be permanently banned’.

He was banned from Twitch (for three days) for the first time on 31 July 2019, when he streamed a video featuring pornographic scenes – he was banned for three days once again on 29 February 2020 after showing nudity in the video game “Connect Four”. XQc was banned for a day on 12 June 2020 for watching two gorillas have sex, and on 18 November 2020 he was banned for a week after stream sniping while playing “Fall Guys” at the Twitch Rivals event – stream sniping is when a person watches someone livestreaming while playing the same game as them, so that they could know their location and take them down in the game. XQc was also banned for half a year from Twitch Rivals for this.

Love life and relationships

XQc is quite secretive when it comes to his relationships, and is keeping the details of the girls he might have dated hidden from the public’s attention.

However, there are rumors circulating the internet, mostly on Reddit.com, that he is currently in a relationship with a fellow Twitch streamer who has occasionally appeared in his streams when they play the video game “Fortnite” together. The girl in question is one of xQc’s best friends, but there are many who believe that she is also his girlfriend, and that they have been dating for over a year now – however, neither of the two have commented on this.

There are also rumors claiming that xQc is gay but these haven’t been confirmed either.

As of December 2020, xQc appears to be single, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Hobbies and other interests

XQc is physically active, as he has several training sessions at the gym each week, however, as he is quite skinny, his body doesn’t appear as very muscular.

He became interested in travelling when he competed abroad for the first time, and has since travelled to various European countries as well as Asian, for both work and pleasure – his dream travel destination is Tokyo in Japan.

XQc is a big lover of animals, with dogs being his favorites – he has a pet dog and a pet cat which can be seen featured in some of his Instagram pictures.

He occasionally watches movies, and his favorite actor is Johnny Depp while a couple of his favorite films are the franchise “The Pirates of the Caribbean”, “Edward Scissorhands” and “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”.

How rich is he and what is his salary?

XQc is 25 years old. He has short brown hair which he dyes blonde, and his eyes are brown. He is 6ft 2ins (1.88m) tall and weighs around 170lbs (78kgs).

As of December 2020, his net worth has been estimated at over $2 million.
