After matriculating from a local high school, Heather enrolled at Pennsylvania State University where she studied media and film theory, majoring in French language as well. During her senior year, she attended a lecture about paranormal activities, held by one of the USA’s most famous paranormal investigators and clairvoyants – Lorraine Warren – which inspired her to become a member of the renowned Penn State’s Paranormal Research Society – PRS.
Dedicated to Paranormal
Becoming heavily inspired and intrigued, Heather started doing paranormal researches on her own. With torchlight and a video camera, she had even taken groups of friends on a variety of excursions and trips to explore what are believed to be haunted locations all over the States, documenting these unique experiences. Less than a year after her graduation from Penn State, Heather began working alongside her role models, Ed and Lorraine Warren.
To greater prominence young Heather came in late 2007, when she began appearing as a crew member of the A&E Networks’ at that time new reality show – “Paranormal State“. Following the student-led college club, the Penn State’s notorious PRS, the plot follows a group of seven young investigators exploring a variety of haunted localities and phenomena in the USA. Each episode covered a different paranormal story, from helping people who are seeing the dead via exorcism and pagan cleansing processes, to detecting and hunting ghosts, visiting a variety of locations such as abandoned hospitals, prisons and mental asylums.
Despite facing different criticism, ranging from being called spooky and scary to ‘one of the worst televisions shows’, this whole endeavor has certainly brought a huge dose of popu
larity and fame to Heather Taddy. She appeared in the total of 43 episodes through the show’s five seasons, before it was eventually called off in mid-2011.

In 2019 she appeared in an episode entitled “Halloween Spooktacular 4” of the TV comedy series “Fashion Trashin”, in which she portrayed the role of Espidera Van Hellthing.
