Brandi Harvey was born in the USA on 20 August 1982 – her zodiac sign is Leo and she holds American nationality. She is a TV executive and an activist, who might be known best for being the daughter of Steve Harvey, an American comedian, writer and TV presenter.
Childhood and education
Brandi was raised in the USA alongside her twin sister Karli and their younger brother Broderick Harvey Jr. by their father and his first wife Marcia Harvey. After his split from Marcia, Steve married Mary Shackelford who gave birth to Brandi’s half-brother Wynton, then after they divorced in November 2005, Steve married Marjorie Bridges in June 2007 and he adopted her three children from her previous marriage.
Brandi attended a local high school at which she was mostly focused on her studies as she was urged by her father to eventually obtain a college degree. Two years after she matriculated in 2000, she enrolled at Ohio State University from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in African-American and African studies in 2005.
Brandi worked various jobs from 2005 to 2010 of which nothing a is known about her life during those five years. In January 2010, she co-founded Young, Fit and Fly and has been serving as its president to this day – the company aims to encourage and empower young girls to take care of their health, self-confidence and their own wellness.
In December 2012, she joined The Steven and Marjorie Harvey Foundation, working as its executive director, and being in charge of overseeing the Girls Who Rule The World Mentoring Program, as well as The Steve Harvey Mentoring Program for Young Men – she has been holding the job for over eight years now.

Mostly because she hasn’t been seen dating any men, it is believed by many that Brandi is lesbian, and that she still hasn’t come out of the closet because of how this might affect her father’s career – the same people believe that her father knows, and has advised her not to share it with the world. Broderick Stephen Harvey was born in Welch, West Virginia USA, on 17 January 1957 – his zodiac sign is Capricorn and he holds American nationality. He is perhaps known best for hosting both his own “The Steven Harvey Show”, as well as the game show “Family Feud”.
Steve was raised alongside his brother Terry and sisters Pauline and Mona by their father Jesse Harvey who was a coal miner, and their mother Eloise Vera who was a housewife. Steve was named ‘Broderick’ after Broderick Crawford, a famous American actor known best for his role in the movie “All the King’s Men” which won him a Golden Globe Award and an Oscar. Steve later moved with his family to Cleveland in Ohio, and the street there in which he used to live has been called Steve Harvey Way for five years now.
He attended Glenville High School, at which he became interested in stand-up comedy and acting, and after matriculation in 1974, he enrolled at Kent State University before switching to West Virginia University.
Steve worked various jobs before venturing into TV and show business, including being a boxer, an insurance agent and a car mechanic – he was also a mailman and a carpet cleaner. He debuted as a stand-up comedian on 9 October 1985, without success as at the time he became homeless, sleeping in his car for three years while usually taking showers at gas stations. He gained recognition on 16 April 1990, when he became one of the finalists in the Second Annual Johnnie Walker National Comedy Search, and was subsequently invited to host the variety show “It’s Showtime at the Apollo”. He went on to star in the sitcom “Me and the Boys” in 1994, and in 1996 launched his own “The Steve Harvey Show”, which aired for the following six years. In 2000, he started hosting his “The Steve Harvey Morning Show”, ultimately for around 20 years now.
