Ashley Newbrough was born in Newport, Rhode Island USA, on 13 October 1987 – her zodiac sign is Libra and she holds both Canadian and American nationality. Ashley is an actress, perhaps still best known for her portrayal of the lead character, Sage Baker in the comedy drama series “Privileged” which was created by Rina Mimoun. The series aired from early 2008 to mid-2009, and also starred JoAnna Garcia Switcher and Lucy Hale in the story which follows a journalist working as a live-in tutor for two girls who are daughters of a rich businessman. Ashley was raised an only child by her American father who was the owner of a small store, and her Canadian mother who worked at a local company as a secretary. She spent the first three years of her life in Newport before the family moved to Cambridge in Ontario, when her mother was offered a job there.
Ashley was noticed by a scout while she was attending elementary school, and by the time she was 12 had appeared in many commercials worldwide.
