She later trained in the UK at the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), known for being one of the largest dance organizations in the world with schools in 79 countries, and which she attended throughout her youth.

While completing her studies, she was already active in the entertainment industry, first joining Disney Channel India as a teen, in which she was mainly a video jockey. Her close association with the company eventually led her to be cast in various advertisements, films, sitcoms, and even music recordings. One of her earliest professional endeavors was in the musical “Grease”, in which she portrayed the role of Sandy.

Tara became known for her songs and recordings, leading her to travel to various countries to perform. She visited Lavasa, Mumbai, Tokyo, and London as a part of a tour with Disney.

However, her fame truly rose when she was cast in the role of Vinnie in the show “The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir”, an Indian adaptation of “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody”. She also signed a new contract for a sequel to the 2014 film “Ek Villain” in which she will work alongside Disha Patani, John Abraham, Aditya Roy Kapur.
