Childhood and education

Nick was raised alongside his brother Nelson and sister Saskia in Philadelphia, by their father who was a lawyer, and their mother who was a theatre actress.

Nick grew up being interested in acting, learning various accents and dialects, but was urged by his parents to focus on his education first, and then do whatever he wanted. Nick was amongst the best students in his high school, and was also physically active as he played various sports such as soccer, football and baseball – he also practiced his acting skills in the school’s drama club.

Upon matriculation in 2011, he enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2015, and then decided to focus on acting; he took a road trip to Los Angeles, California after deciding to move there for good.

Nick then starred as Dom in the short film “Closure”, written and directed by Brendyn Gilbert, and which also starred Samantha Berg and Jonathan Owen Fusco.

Nick was then invited to play Werner in the episodes “Shadow Puppets” and “Point of Departure” of the science fiction thriller series “Counterpart”, which was a hit in both USA and Europe as it won two awards including one Primetime Emmy, and was nominated for 11 other awards.

A year later in 2019, he played the main character Lucas in the short comedy drama “The Other”, but which failed to attract much attention.

Philbin, and which starred Taran Killam, Leighton Meester and Kimrie Lewis. It’s about five single parents who are supporting each other in their search for new partners.

Love life and dating

He is a lover of animals with dogs being his favorites.

Nick is also a model, but considers modeling a hobby rather than a job – he is currently signed to No Ties Management.
