Who is Dimitri Leonidas?
Dimitri Leonidas was born in Brent, London, England, on 14 November 1987 – his zodiac sign is Scorpio and he holds British nationality. He is an actor, perhaps best known for his starring role in the historical comedy movie “The Monuments Men” which starred George Clooney – who also wrote and directed the film – Matt Damon and Bill Murray, and the story follows a platoon during the Second World War as they are recovering art masterpieces stolen by the Nazis. The movie won three awards and was nominated for three others.
Early life and education
Dimitri was raised alongside his three sisters Stephanie, Georgina and Helena, in Brent by their Greek father and their British mother – the family also has some Welsh blood.

Both Stephanie and Georgina have also become actresses – Stephanie is best known for having portrayed Helena in the fantasy movie “MirrorMask”, while Georgina is known for her portrayal of Molly in the sitcom “The Basil Brush Show”.
Dimitri became interested in acting while attending elementary school, as he and his sisters spent most of their free time in front of the TV watching movies and series. He soon became a member of his elementary school’s drama club, and appeared in several plays there before launching his acting career at the age of 10.
He went on to attend a high school in his home town in 2001, at which he continued appearing in plays, and after matriculation in 2005, Dimitri chose not to enroll at a college, but to focus on his career as an actor.
Roles in movies
He made his debut film appearance in 1997 when he appeared as an extra in the French-American fantasy movie “FairyTale: A True Story” starring Paul McGann, Elizabeth Earl and Florence Hoath, and which is about a picture taken by two girls which is considered as evidence of the existence of fairies – the movie won a BAFTA Children’s Award for Best Children’s Film, and it was nominated for three other awards.
In 2009, Dimitri played Alex in the British comedy horror slasher movie “Tormented”, and the following year saw him cast as Leonidas in the British historical action war movie “Centurion” which helped him become popular in the UK as he was praised for his performance. In 2012, he appeared as Mark in the Spanish movie “Animals” directed by Marcal Fores, and two of Dimitri’s latest roles in movies have been in the American political film “Rosewater” released in 2014, and the American action thriller movie “Renegades” in which he portrayed Jack Porter in 2017.

Dimitri made his debut TV series appearance in 2001, when he portrayed Josh Irving in the British children’s series “Grange Hill” starring Stuart Organ, Gwyneth Powell and Lee Cornes, and which is about the everyday lives of children attending Grange Hill Comprehensive School – Dimitri was shooting for it through 2004.
In 2001 Ross appeared in a single episode of the British medical series “Casualty”, and the following year saw him guest star as Josh Harvey in the British police procedural series “The Bill” – he appeared in another episode of “The Bill” in 2005 as Ryan Greaves.
He was praised for his acting skills when he appeared in the British medical series “Holby City” in 2007, while he also got an opportunity to guest star as Mike Andreus in a single episode of the British medical soap opera series “Doctors”. Several new roles followed, including those in the British documentary series “Banged Up Abroad” in 2008, and the British crime drama series “Hustle” in 2011. He was then invited to star as Howie Spragg in the episode “The God Complex” of the critically acclaimed long-running British science fiction series “Doctor Who”.
Three of Dimitri’s most recent roles in TV series have been in the action adventure fantasy family series “Sinbad” in 2012, in which he portrayed Anwar; the drama series “Riviera” in which he portrayed Christos Clios in 2017; and in 2018 in the American anthology period series “Genius” in which he played Kostas Axelos.

Many of his fans have stated to have seen the two eating together at fancy London restaurant,s while they have also allegedly been spotted walking in the streets while holding hands – some people even believe that Dimitri is a married man, and that the two exchanged vows in 2019.
