Ross Bagley was born on the 5th December 1988 in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin USA; of African-American ancestry, Ross is the son of Mary Bagley, but he hasn’t shared information about his father, while he has two siblings, sisters named Danielle and Tiffany with whom he is very close, and they all reside in Los Angeles, California.
Ross had been interested in acting from an early age, and was able to start his career at a tender age of five. He would later study cinema and television arts at California State University, Northridge, from which he graduated in 2012.
Ross’ first role was as Buckwheat in the award-winning family comedy film “The Little Rascals” in 1994, starring Travis Tedford, Brittany Ashton Holmes and Bug Hall – he jointly won the Young Artist Award in the category Best Performance by a Youth Ensemble in a Motion Picture, alongside his co-stars.
Later the same year he was selected for the role of his career, as Nicholas ‘Nicky’ Banks with the Banks family in their Bel-Air mansion, and won the hearts of many in an instant. He portrayed the character in 49 episodes of the Golden Globe Award-nominated series, which launched him to stardom, winning the Young Artist Award in the category for Best Performance by an Actor Under Ten- Television in 1996. While on the set, he found a friend for life in Will Smith, and the two then starred together in the sci-fi action-adventure film “Independence Day”.
Ross was invited to repeat the role in the sequel “Independence Day: Resurgence”, released in 2016, but having retired, declined to accept.

Ross continued his career with minor roles, appearing in TV series such as the crime drama “Profiler” (1996), then in the romantic drama “Providence” in 1999. The same year, he lent his voice to Hutu in the animated series “The Wild Thornberrys”, and ended his career with the role of Micah Benton in the TV drama series “Judging Amy” in 2004.
After this he focused on his education, and joined Will Smith and his wife, Jada in 2012, for an internship at their Overbrook Productions.
Nevertheless, Ross returned to acting in 2015, first with the role of Landon in the horror film “Gnome Alone”, starring Verne Troyer, Kerry Knuppe and Bill Oberst Jr. Before ending his career for good, he starred in the horror “Dead Ringer”, next to Timothy Woodward Jr. and Jacqui Holland.
