Who is Kristin Austin?
Kristin Feres was born in the United States of America, and is best known for being the wife of former professional wrestler “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Her husband is considered one of the most popular and greatest professional wrestlers of all time, responsible for elevating World Wrestling Federation (WWF) during the 1990s. He has remained an enduring icon of professional wrestling since.
The Riches of Kristin Austin
As of early-2020, Kristin Austin’s net worth is estimated to be over $300,000, earned through success in various endeavors.
One of the biggest sources of her benefits is probably the success of her husband, as Steve Austin has a net worth estimated to be over $30 million, earned largely through success in professional wrestling.
Life So Far
Steve Austin met Kristin sometime during the late 2000s, and she was already familiar with him as his wrestling career preceded him. At the time, he was already a few years away from his last divorce, but he was known to have had several notable relationships, including three marriages which ended in divorce. He had also been subject to several domestic violence allegations, which he admitted that he later regretted. He served community service and was under probation in one case against his former wife, former professional wrestler Debra.
Steve was also alleged to have alcohol problems, though it was more of an assumption due to his alcohol drinking persona in-ring, and he denied multiple times that he had any drinking problems. The two married in 2009 after a few years together, and she has been credited multiple times by her husband as the one who’s helped turn his life around. She’s helped in managing a property in Nevada, a ranch her husband owns, and also with another ranch in Texas for many years before it was sold.

Working part time as a mechanic at @ctpconcepts in Nevada. I had to lie a little bit on my resume. But it’s all good. Graduated top of my class…Pulled a transmission out of a truck today and we are doing an air suspension on a 64 Cadillac. “We” maybe an overstatement of what I’m doing. I take out a few bolts and Travis, @coalcartd10, and Brad actually do the real work. Being a mechanic is a lot like being a Pro Wrestler. There’s a lot of bullshit stories and always something to laugh about. We will start to work in a few days installing some stuff on my ‘74 Camaro. Stay tuned.
He was raised primarily by his mother after his parents divorced, and they resided in Edna, Texas, near Houston. His mother remarried, and he grew up alongside four siblings. He attended Edna High School, and during his time there played American Football, well enough so that he was offered a full athletic scholarship to enroll at the University of North Texas.
During college, he became increasingly interested in a career in professional wrestling. He began training at the Dallas Sportatorium, a known wrestling events area in Dallas, and trained under Chris Adams who is known to wrestle under the name Gentleman Chris Adams.
He became a very technical wrestler, learning various moves and a bit about the business. He appeared in a few local shows and had some small paydays. He was then named Steve Austin when he joined the Continental Wrestling Association (CWA), competing mainly with that promotion and the United States Wrestling Association (USWA).
WCW and ECW
In 1991, Steve joined World Championship Wrestling (WCW) which was one of the biggest wrestling promotions at the time, rivaling WWF. He was partnered with wrestler Jeannie Adams also known as Lady Blossom, a woman who would later be one of his former wives.
He gained his first championship in WCW, and became known as Stunning Steve Austin. He partnered with Brian Pillman and the two formed the tag team The Hollywood Blonds, and they would later win a championship, but he later feuded with Pillman after his return to injury. One of his last matches with WCW was in a tournament for the heavyweight championship, in which he was eliminated during the quarter-finals.
After the end of his run with the promotion, he was hired by Paul Heyman to work for Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), and started as an interviewer as he was still recovering from an injury. During his time there, he began working on his most popular persona, Stone Cold.
He also began focusing on developing his skills on the microphone, and Heyman helped him in his promo work. During his short time there, he was known as Superstar Steve Austin.
Success in Wrestling – Stone Cold Steve Austin
In 1995, Steve signed with WWF and debuted as The Ringmaster, which wasn’t a very successful gimmick. The following year he returned as Stone Cold and immediately gained popularity with the fans of the promotion. A lot of people enjoyed his anti-hero character who defied the establishment, drank beer, and was vulgar. He developed a storyline feud with company owner Vince McMahon which were some of the most memorable years of the promotion.
In essence, he became the poster boy of what was known as the Attitude Era, and the most successful period of the company.
Many sports journalists, wrestling legends, and even McMahon himself declared that Austin’s career in WWF is the most successful. He has become an even bigger name than Hulk Hogan, and he is often considered as the most successful act of all time. Others consider him as the most influential and profitable wrestling character of all time. He held 19 championships during his run, and headlined many pay-per-views, including three WrestleMania events. In 2003, despite still having years in him to wrestle, he opted to retire following knee injuries and a nagging neck injury. Since his retirement, he still makes sporadic appearances as a guest. He was later inducted into the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Hall of Fame.
Before Kristin met Austin, he was known to have had many high profile romances. His first marriage was to high school sweetheart Kathryn Burrhus, a marriage that lasted two years before he opted to annul following his romance with Lady Blossom whom he worked with. The two wrestlers married in 1992 and they have two children together. They stayed married for seven years before divorcing. The following year, he had a relationship with wrestling personality Debra, to whom he was married for less than a year; the relationship was known for its issues, particularly of domestic violence. He also had a relationship with glamour model Tess Broussard, before later meeting Kristin. The two married in 2009, and reside in Marina Del Rey, California though they often travel together due to his businesses, and have appeared in many public events together.
