Marnie is being raised alongside her sister in London by their mother, as their parents separated a year after Marnie was born, and then officially divorced in 2014 – the girls’ father went on to marry American screenwriter Meaghan Oppenheimer in 2019, and she has recently given birth to their child.

Marnie is already interested in acting as her mother has taken her to her movie and TV series sets on multiple occasions, and she is currently a member of her elementary school’s drama club, while also practicing her acting skills at a local theatre. Thomas John Ellis was born in Cardiff, Wales, on 17 November 1978 – his zodiac sign is Scorpio and he holds British nationality. He is probably known best for his portrayal of Gary Preston in the comedy series “Miranda”, which also starred Miranda Hart and Patricia Hodge, and which aired from 2009 to 2015. It follows the introvert Miranda who finds it hard to get along with other people – the series won eight awards and was nominated for 18 others.

Tamzin Maria Outhwaite was born in Ilford, Essex England, on 5 November 1970 – her zodiac sign is Scorpio and she holds British nationality. She might be known best for her portrayal of Mel Owen in the soap opera “East Enders” as well as for her roles in the series’ “New Tricks” and “Red Cap”.

Tamzin was raised alongside her two younger brothers, Jake and Kes in London, by their father Colin Frank Outhwaite and their mother Anna – she attended Trinity Catholic High School, Woodford Green and at the same time practiced her acting skills with the Stagestruck Theatre Company. Tamzin also attended Sylvia Young Theatre School, and upon matriculation began studying drama and dance at the London Studio Centre.

Just as her ex-husband, Tamzin has appeared in only a couple of movies, but many TV series. She made her debut film appearance in 2005 when cast to play Sergeant Kelly Anders, one of the lead characters in the crime action thriller movie “7 Seconds”, which also starred Wesley Snipes, and she went on to appear in the drama “Backwaters”, another drama “Radio Cape Cod”, and the romantic drama “Great Expectations”.  Hher most recent role in a movie has been in the short film “MOTH (Man of the House)” in 2014.

Tamzin made her debut TV series appearance in a 1995 episode of the comedy “Men Behaving Badly”, and then appeared in single episodes of several series, before being invited to play the lead character Sergeant Jo McDonagh in the drama “Red Cap”.

She went on to play lead characters in the drama “Vital Signs”, another drama “Hotel Babylon”, and the mystery crime drama “The Fixer”. Tamzin has now appeared in over 30 TV series, with a few of her most recent appearances being in “Naked Beach” (served as a narrator), “Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators” and “Dun Breedin” in which she has been portraying the lead character Indie Hendricks since early 2020.

Tamzin has won several awards for her performances – a British Soap Opera Award – Sexiest Female in both 1999 and 2000, and a National Television Award – Most Popular Newcomer in 1999.
