Emilia Schüle is a Russian-born German actress, who is probably best known to the world as Young Petra in the TV action series “Treadstone”. She presented herself to the wider public with the role of Sophie in the film “Gangs”, which also brought her success, in addition to other roles during her career.

Emilia Schüle was born on the 28th November 1992, in Blagoveshchensk, Russia to a Russian-German family, but spent just a year in her home country before the family moved to Germany and settled in Berlin.

As a result of this early move, Emilia learned German, Russian, English and even French. As she was growing up, Emilia started expressing interest in the performing arts, and when she was seven years old, started attending dancing lessons, focusing on ballet and modern dance.

The 2010 year brought new strings of success for young Emilia, as she was Julia in the film “Rock It!”, and reprised the role of Mila in the sequel “Freche Mädchen 2”. Furthermore, she made an appearance in the television movie “Cinderella”, and then in 2011 starred in the television movie “Vermisst- Alexandra Walch, 17”, about the missing girl. The film received several awards, and took Emilia to the verge of stardom. A year later she starred in the film “Nemez”, next to Mark Filatov and Alex Brendemühl.

She was then selected for the role of Vanessa in the TV comedy series “Add a Friend” in 2012, and through 2014 appeared in 28 episodes of the award-winning series, further raising her popularity.

Although she’s had success through the 2010s, she really came prominence sin 2019, when she was chosen for the part of Young Petra in the TV series “Treadstone”, appearing in all 10 episodes of the highly-acclaimed series, which also helped her secure other roles; the series is a spin-off from the “Bourne Identity” film series. Most recently, she was Lydia in the film “Narcissus and Goldmund” and Franziska in “Hallo Again”, both in 2020.

She is currently working on several projects, including the films “Wunderschön” and “Die Vergesslichkeit der Eichhörnchen”, both of which are in post-production, and awaiting a release date bubject to easing restrictions around the Covid-19 pandemic.
