Emme was raised alongside her twin brother Maximilian Muniz by their mother and their father Marc Anthony who is also a famous singer – Emme also has four half-siblings Christian, Ariana, Ryan and Chase.
Emme’s mother was previously married to Ojani Noa, a Cuban waiter, from early 1997 to January 1998 and on 29 September 2001, she married Cris Judd, a professional dancer, but they divorced in June 2002 citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.
She subsequently became engaged to the famous American actor Ben Affleck in November 2002, but they split in January 2004. J. He was raised alongside his seven siblings in East Harlem, by their father Felipe Muniz who worked at a hospital cafeteria and was a musician, and their mother Guillermina who was a homemaker. Marc grew up listening to salsa music, and was taught by his father to sing and to play the guitar.
He launched his career when he started writing songs and serving as the backing vocal for two bands = Latin Rascals and Menudo – before in 1988 releasing his debut solo album “Rebel”. He then released his salsa album “Todo a su Tiempo” which won him a Billboard Award for Hot Tropical Artist of the Year, as well as a nomination for a Grammy Award. Marc is also an actor, who gained recognition after he portrayed supporting characters in the 1995 crime film “Hackers”, then the comedy movie “Big Night” and the crime action thriller film “The Substitute”, both in 1996. He appeared in the stage musical “The Capeman” which counted 68 performances, and in 1999 was cast to appear in Martin Scorsese’s film “Bringing Out the Dead”. Marc played a supporting character in the 2004 action thriller movie “Man on Fire” which starred Denzel Washington, and in 2007 starred in the biographical drama “El Cantante”, which follows the life of Hector Lavoe, the late Puerto Rican salsa legend.
