Anna was raised alongside her brother Christian Eberstein by their parents Hans and Susanne who are businesspeople, and who spent most of their time working when Anna and Christian were still very young, and they thus spent a lot of time with a babysitter.
Anna was encouraged by her parents to pursue a college degree, but what she really wanted to do was pursue a career as an actress – she was a member of her high school’s drama club and appeared in many plays performed at the school as well as several performed at a local theatre. Upon matriculation in 2001, she enrolled at Oxford Brooks University in the UK, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and political science, and she then obtaining her Master of Arts degree in economics in 2007.
Anna continued her education, attending both Lincoln Memorial University in the US, and Uppsala University in Sweden.
After obtaining her Master’s degree, Anna started working as a promotions producer in sales and marketing for the network ESPN; she stayed with them for several years and was eventually promoted to the position of an assistant producer.
