Jordyn was raised alongside her siblings in Los Angeles by her father who was an actor, and her mother who was a theatre actress – Jordyn often watched her mother perform in theatre, but never really became interested in acting herself.
She attended a local high school at which she was physically active as she played soccer, while she was also interested in creative writing, singing and dancing – she hasn’t talked about whether or not she attended college, but it’s known that she went into modeling at age 17, while still attending high school, and appeared in the magazine “Teen” – she was mostly popular during the ‘90s, and during those years was featured in many magazines.
Career as a film director
Jordyn is only known for having directed the short musical video “Foo Fighters: Walking a Line” in 2002 together with Chris Osterhus, and which starred Foo Fighters, her husband Dave and Taylor Hawkins – Jordyn was also supposed to direct a documentary film about Foo Fighters, but this failed to happen for unknown reasons.

He was raised alongside his sister in Warren by his father, James Harper Grohl who was a newswriter and who died in 2014, and his mother Virginia Jean who was a teacher. His family later moved to Springfield in Virginia, but when he was seven years old his parents divorced.
Dave was 12 when he got his first guitar, but soon became tired of his guitar teacher and started teaching himself – he joined his first band while still attending elementary school.
