Who is Renée Elise Goldsberry?
American actress and singer Renée Elise Goldsberry was born in San Jose, California USA, on 2 January 1971, making Capricorn her zodiac sign. She’s perhaps known best for originating the role of Angelica Schuyler in the Broadway play “Hamilton”, although she’s also popular for her career on TV, especially for playing Evangeline Williamson in 269 episodes (1999-2007) of the soap opera “One Life to Live”. Michael Easton and Erika Slezak starred in the drama, which was created by Agnes Nixon, and follows the lives of three families from the fictional city of Llanview in Pennsylvania; the series aired from 1968 through 2013 and won 95 of its 519 award nominations.

Renée was raised in Houston, Texas as she and her family moved there not long after she was born; her father worked in the automotive industry, and her mother Betty Saunders was an industrial psychologist.
