She grew up being interested in modelling and acting, while she also began taking karate lessons at the age of seven, and is now the holder of a fourth level green belt.
She attended a local high school where she began practicing acting, while she also launched her modelling career when in 10th grade, noticed by a modelling scout working for the Ford Modelling Agency. Upon matriculation, Daniella didn’t enroll at college right away, but took two years to focus on her career before enrolling at Marymount Manhattan College, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications in 2002.
Modelling career and roles in movies
Daniella was featured on the cover pages of several magazines during her teenage years, including “Seventeen” and “Teen” before she started doing more serious work such as starring in commercials for Volkswagen, Target, and Kmart among others.
She is very popular in Spain too, and has appeared in over 20 of their commercials, and in over 30 national and internationals ads.
Daniella made her debut film appearance when she portrayed Lisa in “Academy Boyz” in 1997, which was followed by her roles in “Black Knight” in 2001 and “Rhythm of the Saints” in 2003. In 2006, she was invited to appear in the drama film “All You’ve Got” and the horror movie “Hood of Horror”, but she didn’t gain much recognition until she starred in the horror film “The Hills Have Eyes 2” in 2007, which follows a team of National Guard men who are fighting against human mutants. The same year also saw Daniella star in “Wrong Turn 2: Dead Ed” and appear in “A Poor Kid’s Guide to Success”.
The year 2009 saw her appear in four movies, including “Love Song” and “The Collector”, while her next notable role was in the action comedy film “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2”, which follows a cop who goes on a vacation to Las Vegas with his daughter. Love life and husband
Daniella is very secretive regarding her love life, and there are rumors circulating the internet that the famous actress dated several of her colleagues before she met Aaron Hernandez sometime in the 2000s.
The two dated for over six years before marrying at a private event in 2013, attended by only the two’s closest friends and family – they have been living together in New York City since then; they don’t have any children. Obviously Aaron is not the popular football player with the same name who died in 2017 by committing suicide.
Daniella is a highly sociable person, and has pictures with numerous men alongside whom she has starred in TV series and movies, which has led to people to start rumors about her having affairs with many of them – of course they haven’t been confirmed and neither has Daniella commented on them.

|1||Being Latina playing into my goals or passion for acting - I will say that being raised in a large Puerto Rican family of mostly all women who are extremely passionate has taught me how to be not only passionate but driven and goal oriented. In my family I wasn't necessarily pushed into anything but at the same time if I said I wanted to do it everyone always assumed I could. So I did as well I guess. But only with hard work, preparation and a little bit of luck!|
|2||My family's funny. They're very supportive, but they don't know who actors are and they don't really care. They're just like, 'Oh, if you wanna do it, sure, go!'" They don't want to come to set and sit there and look at a screen. It doesn't impress them.|
|3||I've always loved movies and ever since I was little I've always wanted to make people feel how movies made me feel - happy, sad, adventurous... There was never a specific moment where I said this is what I want to do. I've just always known and luckily when I was old enough I was lucky enough to work.|
|4||I grew up in Manhattan, so I'm used to for all time running about and having a billion things to do. In LA everything's slower paced, everybody takes their time and actually enjoys things: hiking, eating healthy. In New York there's no time to go hiking, you just walk 30 blocks. Also in LA it's typically the movie business or TV business, and that's what everybody talks about because that's everyone's job in some way or another. In New York it's so diverse, you can be sitting at a table with a doctor and a cab driver and a musician.|
|5||It seems to find me - the tough military girl [role]. But in real life, i'm like, 'Let's go shopping, guys!' 'Let's take our dogs to the park!' But I can pull it off.|
|6||I actually take Karate and tae-kwon-do. And so I love sparring and grappling and all that physical stuff. I studied a hybrid form of grappling, sparring, and self defense, it's more of a get yourself in shape and if you want to take it to the next level, so you're really learning valuable skills with self defense, and I really enjoy it.|
