Arielle became interested in acting and modelling at a very early age, and while she was attending Crenshaw School, she competed in several beauty pageants, and was a member of the school’s drama club. In 2002, she competed in the Miss Florida Teen USA, and around the same time started working as a professional model, being featured in magazines such as “FHM”, “Men’s Health”, and “Maxim” among others.
Upon matriculation in 2003, Arielle focused on her modelling and acting career rather than to pursuing a college degree.
TV series appearances
Arielle made her debut TV series appearance in 2003, in the procedural forensics drama series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”, before appearing in single episodes of “Judging Amy” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”.
She gained recognition after attending the audition and winning the role of the recurring character Lindsay Anne Lister Forester in the comedy drama series “Gilmore Girls”, which starred Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, and Keiko Agena, and followed a single mother and her teenage daughter. Arielle was shooting for it in 2003 and 2004 while the series ended in 2007, and she went on to appear in single episodes of several other series such as “Entourage” in 2004, “CSI: Miami” in 2005, and “Shark” in 2006.
She was invited to portray the lead characters in two series – “Shark” and “Football Wives” – in 2006 and 2007 respectively, but neither was picked up by any network.
In 2009, she began portraying the recurring character Alexia ‘Lexi’ Branson in the drama fantasy horror series “The Vampire Diaries”, which starred Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and Ian Somerhalder, and which followed the lives of strange creatures living in Mystic Falls in Virginia.
