Introduction

Not all people who are born into wealth want the fame that often goes with it. The third wife of Craig Ferguson, Megan Wallace Cunningham, was trying to have her own, private career before her marriage brought her into the headlines against her desire. Who is the beautiful wife of TV host Craig Ferguson? What did she use to do for a living before she became the talk of the town?

Early life and Education

Megan Wallace Cunningham was born in Vermont, USA, and grew-up with her wealthy family on the farm they own.

There is no information about her parents or any siblings, nor about her childhood that has been disclosed to the public; it’s known that she graduated, but not from which university.

Marriage to Craig Ferguson

Cunningham came into the spotlight after she married actor Craig Ferguson. Ferguson is a stand-up comedian who came to the US America from Scotland, and achieved a prominent acting career. He is best known as a host of “Celebrity Name Game”, as well as of “Join or Die with Craig Ferguson”, and CBS “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson”.

He’s also been in several blockbuster movies, including “The Big Tease”, “I’ll Be There” and “Vampire Bats”. Ferguson is the author of several books too, some of them being “The Sphynx of the Mississippi”, “Between the Bridge and the River”, and “Married Lovers”. He’s also did some voice acting, for the animated movie “How to Train Your Dragon”. For his contribution to the entertainment industry, Ferguson has won two Daytime Emmy awards, and been nominated for a prestigious Grammy Award.

Craig marries his 3rd wife, Megan Wallace-Cunningham who is 20 years his junior! It was a sad day for American's single women!

Posted by Christine Bode on Tuesday, October 27, 2009

Megan and Craig met in 2005 and started dating – the 13-year age gap between them would worry some, but not them, as three years later, on 21st December 2008, they tied the knot. The private ceremony was held on Cunningham’s family farm that is located in Chester, Vermont, and only the closest family members and friends could attend. In July 2010 Ferguson announced that his wife was expecting via his Twitter account in his own manner: ‘Holy crackers! Mrs. F is pregnant. How did that happen? Oh yeah, I know how.

Another Ferguson arrives in 2011. The world trembles.’

On 31st January 2011 the couple welcomed their son who they named Liam Ferguson. This wasn’t Ferguson’s first child, though, as he has another son from his second marriage, Milo Hamish Ferguson, who was born in 2001, and whose mother is Sascha Brown. Ferguson and Brown were married from 1998 to 2004 and have shared custody of their son. Before Brown, Ferguson was married to Anne Horgath from 1983 to 1986, but they didn’t have children.

Craig Ferguson and Megan Wallace Cunningham

All of this means that Cunningham is his third wife.

Cunningham has two sisters in law and one brother in law. Ferguson’s younger sister, Lynn Ferguson Tweddle, followed her brother’s footsteps and also pursued a career in comedy and acting, and is known for voicing Mac in “Chicken Run”, a stop-motion animated film from 2011. She also wrote for “The Late Late Show” until 2011.

Personal Life

Ever since she graduated, Cunningham has had a career as an art dealer; she buys and re-sells art pieces for a profit, hopefully.

Cunningham is not active on any social media, such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. However, her husband often posts pictures of her on his Twitter account, on which as of April 2020, he has more than 2.7 million followers!

Ferguson is also open about his alcohol addiction that he has been fighting for years, and Cunningham is being a supportive wife during every step of his battle.

Net Worth

As an art dealer, Cunningham is sure to have a significant income, however, it has never been disclosed.

However, her net worth has been estimated at over $1.5 million, mostly from her business.

Her husband’s net worth is estimated at around $30 million, and his annual income at around $8.5 million! The couple lives in a mansion that is valued at over $1 million, and they have a beach house that they bought for $5.6 million! The mansion has two-thirds of an acre and is around 115 years old. The house is rather spacious as it expands over 6,812 square feet area and has several rooms, bathrooms and a huge garden.

In fact, Ferguson is considered to be amongst the 20 richest TV hosts in the world!

Physical characteristics

Megan Cunningham’s body measurements haven’t been revealed to the public. However, judging from the photos of her and her husband, she seems to be rather tall, as she is just a few inches shorter than Ferguson who is 6ft 2ins (1.89m) tall. She has a slim, healthy body. Her hair color is light brown to blonde, and her eyes are bright blue.

2[announcing his intended retirement from The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (2005), 2014] CBS and I are not getting divorced, we are consciously uncoupling. But I haven't made my mind up yet.
