Marin grew up wanting to become a ballerina, and began taking lessons at the age of five. However, not long after enrolling at Newton South High School, she suffered an injury which marked the end of her ballet career, and she then focused on acting. Upon matriculation, Marin enrolled at Brown University from which she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in theatre, then continued her education at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, graduating with a Master’s degree in theatre in 1991.

Roles in films

Marin worked several jobs to financially support herself after graduation, and didn’t make her debut film appearance until 1994, portraying Young Joanne in the romantic comedy “Angie” followed by her appearances in three movies – “Milk & Money”, “Breathing Room”, and “I’m Not Rappaport” – all in 1996.

Marin appeared in two movies in 1998 called “Show & Tell” and “Chocolate for Breakfast”, and after being praised for her performance, was invited to play supporting characters in “Killing Cinderella”, “Frequency”, and “Sam the Man” in 2000. She gained recognition after portraying Sherry in the science fiction movie “Final” in 2001, which starred Denis Leary and Hope Davis and is about a man recovering from a mental breakdown after being in a coma for several years. They began dating shortly after, split in 1995, but got back together after nine months. They married at a private ceremony on 29 November 1997 and they have one child together. The family is currently living in Cheviot Hills, Los Angeles, California.

Randall was born in 1961 in the US, and became interested in acting while attending high school, but as both of his parents were lawyers, he attended a Law College, graduating with his Master’s degree in 1986.

After pleasing his parents, he focused on plays, becoming a theatre director, while he is also an actor, having starred in the short drama film “Date Rape: No Means No” which was written and directed by Gerald A. Schiller, and which also starred Margo Cari and Lisabeth Schiller.
