He is an actor, web host and a musician, who might still be known best for his portrayal of the lead character, Kevin McAllister in the 1990 Christmas comedy film “Home Alone”, written by John Hughes, directed by Chris Columbus, and which also starred Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern – it follows an eight-year-old boy who, after being left at home by his parents, has to figure out how to fight against two burglars. He went on to appear in several movies such as “The Midnight Hour” in 1985, the 1988 “Rocket Gibraltar”, and in 1989 “Uncle Buck”, however, he only gained recognition after starring in “Home Alone”, for which performance he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award, while he actually won a Young Artist Award and an American Comedy Award. He reprised his role in “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” in 1992, and for it received $4.5 million having only received $110,000 for the first movie – the following year saw him appear in the thriller movie “The Good Son”.
