Kimberly Anne Scott spent her early years in her hometown of Warren, raised by parents Caismer and Kathleen Sluck. She is the identical twin of the late Dawn Scott, who passed away from a heroin overdose in 2016. Kim had a very difficult childhood since her father was very abusive, so at the age of 13, she and Dawn ran away from home and lived at Youth home in 1988. Kim met Eminem at a house party and they became very close friends, so Kim and Dawn soon moved in with him and his mother Debbie Nelson, who became the guardian of the sisters.
