Emily Beth Stern was born in Old Westbury, New York State USA, on 7 May 1983 – her zodiac sign is Taurus and she holds American nationality. She is an actress, singer, and an artist, but perhaps best known for being the daughter of broadcaster Howard Stern and his then wife Alison.
Early life and education
Emily was raised by her parents, her father Howard is a famous radio personality, while her mother is an actress but best known for starring in “The Howard Stern Show” , as well as in “Private Parts”. Howard and Alison married on 4 June 1978, and Emily has two sisters named Debra Jennifer and Ashley Jade.

Emily was very close to her father – he taught her how to practice Transcendental Meditation while she got her mantra at the age of 10.
She started acting while in high school after being encouraged by her mother, and joined the school’s drama club starting to appear in its plays. Upon matriculation in 2001, Emily enrolled at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre. She also practiced singing while attending the university and was a member of a local band for a year.
Career as an actress and singer
Emily launched her career as an actress in 2005, when she portrayed Madonna in the theatre play “Kabbalah” – she had to dye her hair for the role, and appear nude. The play received mixed reviews, and Emily sued the production after her nude pictures and videos were used to promote the play without her knowledge.
She began working on her career as a musician releasing her debut album “Birth Day” on 23 October 2013 made out of 11 songs some of which are “Remembering Love” and “Zoo Za Zoo” among others.
She also launched her career as an artist in 2015 and was set to hold an exhibition of her photos on 18 November 2015, however, it was cancelled after Emily revealed it might show her father in a bad light – it was eventually held at The Jewish Museum of New Jersey in the summer of 2016.

Emily believed her parents were having a perfect marriage, and was devastated when they decided to divorce. Her father married an 18 years younger model in 2008 while her mother went on to marry David Scott Simon. There have been rumors that she has been dating her colleague actor who has been starring alongside her in the play “Reborning” after she started uploading pictures with him onto her Instagram account, while her fans have also stated how they seem rather too close on the scene. Howard was raised by his father Ben, who served in the US Army before launching Aura Recording Inc. with his friend, and his mother Ray who was a housewife.
Howard has an older sister named Ellen. When Howard was one year old, the family switched to living on Long Island, subsequently enrolling Howard at Washington-Rose Elementary School and upon finishing, he began attending Roosevelt Junior-Senior High School. Although he was offered enrollment at Elmira College, he decided to pursue a degree in communications at Boston University, switching to the Radio Engineering Institute of Electronics and obtaining his radio-telephone operator license.
He launched his career by working at WNTN Network based in Newton as their radio host. He soon began working at WRNW as their radio host before becoming production director holding the position until November 1977 when he was promoted to the program director.

He had his first show in 1988 called “Howard Stern’s Negligee and Underpants Party” while his live performance “Howard Stern’s US Open Sores” was sold out in only four hours. He got his own “The Howard Stern Show” in July 1990, and it became a huge hit in the US. He released his first book, “Private Parts” on 7 October 1993, while his second book “Miss America” came out in November 1995; in 1996, a film based on his first book started filming.
