Early life, family and education
Emily was raised an only child in Louisville, by her father who was a police officer and her mother who worked at a local thrift shop.

She became interested in acting when she was 13 years old, and started watching movies and TV series every day. Emily attended DuPont Manual High School at which she was a member of the school’s drama club, and appeared in many plays performed there.

Emily hasn’t commented on the rumors related to her love life, nor her sexual orientation, and as of August 2020, she is single, hasn’t (or isn’t) married, and doesn’t have children.
Hobbies and other interests
Emily is a philanthropist who has attended numerous charity events, and donated money to war veterans and underprivileged children on multiple occasions. She supports the movement Black Lives Matter, and joined in the march organized in Washington Park while she also Twittered her support on the internet. She is fighting for the rights of people suffering from mental health issues, and has stated how her mother suffered from sleep disorder, and how it was hard to help her in a society which stigmatized her condition.
