Career as a model and car accident
It is widely believed that Elaine enhanced her breasts in the early ‘80s, shortly after she matriculated from high school, and then signed with a modelling agency in Vancouver. She was 18 when she did her first photoshoot, while she gained recognition after she became a Playboy model, and started living in Hugh Heffner’s Playboy Penthouse – there were rumors that Elaine was sleeping with Hugh, as it was believed that Hugh was at the time sleeping with all of his Playboy models (‘bunnies’).

She was also good at doing make-up, and at one occasion did Avril Lavigne’s lashes.
On 13 May 2013, Elaine was waiting at the counter of Nature’s Fare Market when a car drove in and pinned her against the wall. She was taken to a hospital and against what the doctor advised, she signed her discharge papers and went home only to wake up in pain. As she was both physically and mentally harmed, the court awarded her $442,000 in compensation.
Elaine was energetic before the accident, but has since been unable to physically do many things, and her career has suffered enormously.
