Their main goal is to gain access to cognitive bias and develop clear visions of the future, including military equipment, alternative strategies and war strategies.

She has written several books including “War and Conflict,” “The Battle of Bannockburn 1314,” “1314: Bannockburn” – going into detail of what happened in the war, and how the battle is still significant today – and “London’s Civil War 1642-46.” She also speaks about the military campaigns, equipment, weapons and political views during wars in the middle ages. In 2003, her book “War and Conflict” was published. At the time, Lynette had not yet undergone gender reassignment surgery, and was still living as a man (physically). In 2007, Lynette underwent gender reassignment surgery. Melanie was incredibly supportive of Lynette, and protected her wife against any potentially hateful remarks, ‘She does not wish to talk to you about a private matter,’ she would tell anyone who asked questions about Lynette’s transition.

Lynette and Melanie have two children together. The family lives near Guildford, Surrey.

The Major General of Sandhurst, Peter Pearson, warned that any rude or snide comments about Lynette would be ‘treated with severe punishment.’

From 2011 to 2013 in the PINK Lists, Lynette has been ranked at number 53, 68 and 77. The Pink List ranks the most influential LGBTQ+ community members; before 2014, it was called the Rainbow List.

The British national newspaper, “The Independent on Sunday,” annually publishes the list which began in 2000 as a way to honor and thank all openly LGBTQ+ people. I wish he would be more honest. Genetically and biologically, he is still a man. Until his chromosomal structure is changed, he is still a man. If he is an educator,it’s his responsibility to he honest to potential students. I don’t wish to be rude, but I feel that, to continually refer to himself as a woman, is disingenuous at the least. It would be like Fallon Fox calling himself a woman.

Wouldn’t it be correct to say she is quadrilingual?
She speaks German, Hebrew, French, and English?

This article says she is trilingual, not mentioning that she speaks English.

I have long wondered about whether this person was born male or female. Can’t put it in words except to say that it is so obvious that she was not a natural female.
Not to be çrude or rude but , as I said, it’s so obvious . Fascinating intelligence.

I don’t understand the big deal about Dr. Nusbacher being transgender. She is obviously highly intelligent and has performed valuable work in many areas. Who cares if she speaks 4 or 3 languages. Her IQ is probably higher than any of you (including me). The only thing obvious about Dr. Nusbacher is that she is well educated and well respected in her various fields of knowledge. We should all be that lucky!

I agree. Her private life is private. No one else’s concern. But… knowing as much as we do, I find her absolutely fascinating. She is brilliant! Carry on Dr Lynette! You have my undivided attention! 😌

Lynette is een zeer intelligente vrouw met een onvoorstelbare vakkennis.

What is Holly Hallstrom doing today? Is she died? Net Worth

Published

on

Who is Holly Hallstrom?

Holly Anne Hallstrom was born in San Antonio, Texas USA, on 25 August 1952 – her zodiac sign is Virgo and she holds American nationality. She is a former model, retired actress and a TV personality, who is still perhaps best known for having served as a model in the game show “The Price Is Right” from 1977 to 1995.

What is she doing today or has she died?

There are rumors circulating the internet about how Holly died sometime in the early 2000s, as she hasn’t been appearing on TV or in the media, however, it is known that she decided to retire from appearing in TV shows in the late ‘90s, but came back on several occasions when invited as a guest in talk shows.

Today, Holly is renting-out several houses that she owns, and is leading a peaceful life in San Antonio.

Early life and education

Holly was raised alongside her younger sister in San Antonio, by the girls’ father who was a car mechanic, and their mother who was a housewife.

Holly grew up being focused on her studies, and when she enrolled at a local high school, she and her peers started reading girly magazines and watching models on TV – this is when Holly began dreaming about becoming a famous model one day, but still focused on her studies, and after matriculating in 1970, she enrolled at a college.

While still attending college, she visited Los Angeles in California, and there began working as a model which led her to quit college and focus on her career.

Career as an actress and a TV personality

Holly’s first appearance in a TV show was what made her famous – “The Price Is Right” starred Bob Barker, Janice Pennington and Dian Parkinson, and followed multiple contestants competing to win cash, cars and vacations. All the games in the show were related to the consumer goods pricing, and was a huge hit, winning 48 awards and being nominated for 122 others.

In 1980, Holly appeared as a panelist in two episodes of the comedy family game show “Match Game PM”, and in 1984 featured in the TV special “TV’s Funniest Game Show Moments”.

She made her debut TV series appearance in 1989, when she was cast to portray Newlywed Woman in the episode “The Nutt Cracker Suite” of the comedy “The Nutt House”, and in 1993 Holly made an uncredited appearance as the Spin the Wheel Girl in the action comedy crime movie “Loaded Weapon 1”. In the same year, she guest starred in a single episode of the game show “Family Feud”., and the following year made her second movie appearance when she played The Female Office

r in the short science fiction adventure comedy “Galaxy Beat”. Two years later, Holly played The Toothpaste Spokesperson in the adventure science fiction thriller movie “The Tomorrow Man”.

She featured in the TV special “The Price Is Right 25th Anniversary Special” in 1996, and in 2002 guest starred in a single episode of the documentary series “E! True Hollywood Story”. Her final two appearances on TV were captured in 2005, when she guest starred in an episode of the mini-series “Game Show Moments Gone Bananas”, and an episode of the talk show “The View”.

Filling a lawsuit

Holly was let go from “The Price Is Right” in 1995 by the show’s host Bob Barker, and subsequently claimed that she was dismissed because she gained 14lbs (6.4kgs), also that she was let go because she wouldn’t support Bob when he was sued for sexual harassment by Dian Parkinson, a former American model.

Bob counter-sued Holly, but dropped the suit two days before the trial began, and had to pay Holly’s legal fees – this motivated Holly to sue Bob, and the legal fight went on for years before it was settled in October 2005. During the years she fought Bob in court, Holly used all her savings, sold her house to pay for her lawyer, and lived in a car for a year. She eventually received several million dollars as settlement, and could’ve received more if she had accepted to not talk about Bob in the media ever again – she launched a foundation which has since been helping people who have been mistreated at their workplace.

After the models Kathleen Bradley and Janice Pennington, production assistants Sherrill Paris and Linda Riegert, and the director Paul Alter all testified against Bob, they were fired from the show – every one of them sued Bob, accepting out-of-court financial settlements, while Paul was eventually invited to come back to the show which he accepted in 2000.

Love life and relationships

Holly has kept details of her love life hidden from the media’s attention since she launched her modelling career, and there are rumors circulating the internet that she dated several men during those years she was shooting for “The Price Is Right”. Many of her fans claimed that they saw her walking hand in hand with several men in a period of three months, but Holly has never agreed to comment on her love life – it is also believed by some that she is a lesbian, while two of her fans have even claimed to have seen her kissing her female friend at a Los Angeles club.

As of September 2020, Holly is single, she hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Hobbies and other interests

She apparently spent her entire life being on a strict diet, eating mostly vegetables and fruits, and it wasn’t until she was done with modelling that she became interested in tasting various cuisines and travelling around the world – she has been to many European countries with her favorite being France, especially its capital city Paris, and she has also travelled to Asia on multiple occasions visiting China and Japan.

She is a lover of animals, and has had many pet dogs and cats.

Holly likes to watch movies late at night, and her favorite actors and actresses are Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Angelina Jolie, and some of her favorite movies are “Titanic”, “Catch Me If You Can” and “Good Will Hunting”.

What happened to Bill Nye? Arrested? Drugs, Net Worth, Bio

Published

on

Recently it has been rumored that the scientist, engineer and TV host Bill Nye was arrested for manufacturing and distributing drugs. These speculations were originated by the satire website Huzlers, on which an article narrating Nye’s arrest for ‘allegedly selling and manufacturing illegal drugs such as marijuana, acid, and crystal meth’ was posted. In the article he was also accused of being responsible for the majority of the drug trafficking market in Los Angeles.

Despite the fact Huzlers has always been honest about its satirical and comical nature, some people on the internet have taken Bill Nye’s article out of context and have spread it as true. However, Bill Nye hasn’t been arrested or accused of such crimes.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CIG0_vln6NS/

Who is Bill Nye?

William Sanford ‘Bill’ Nye is an American communicator, mechanical engineer and TV personality, born on 27 November 1955 in Washington, DC USA. He’s widely known for his show “Bill Nye the Science Guy” on PBS.

Early Life

Bill Nye is the son of Jacqueline Jenkins and Edwin Darby Nye – he has a sister named Susan and a brother named Darby. William’s mother was a mathematician and psychologist who worked as a code breaker for the US government during World War II, in which his father Edwin also served as a contractor for the US armed forces.

During his childhood in Washington DC, William attended Lafayette Elementary School, and then started studying at Alice Deal Junior High, until he received a scholarship to attend Sidwell Friends, from where he matriculated in 1973.

William Nye then enrolled into Sibley School of Cornell University in New York, from where he graduated with a major in Mechanical Engineering. During his time in University, William took a class with Carl Sagan: ‘His classes were just fantastic’ said Nye in an interview – ‘If you saw the series “Cosmos”, his lectures were just like those television shows’.

Career

First Steps

Nye’s first job in the scientistic field was working for the Boeing Corporation, where he invented a suppressor tube for airplanes. He also worked for Sundstrand Data Control in Seattle, and tried to enter the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) training program, but was unsuccessful. Nye was a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and was a volunteer at the non-profit organization Pacific Science Center.

During his time in Seattle, Nye discovered his love for comedy by making impersonations of the actor Steve Martin, even winning a lookalike contest. It was then he decided to create his own stand-up comedy routine, while still working as an engineer. However, in 1986 he resolved to quit his job in Sundstrand to work full-time as a comedian.

“Almost Live!” & More

In 1986 Nye started working as a writer and actor for the show “Almost Live!”, and adopted the name Bill Nye. Although at the start he didn’t have a section in the show, he started by appearing in the program doing a science demonstration, after one of the guests cancelled their presentation. Nye’s segment turned out to be very successful, and led him to win an Emmy for it.

In 1989 he began hosting his own program, “Fabulous Wetlands” which was an educational series focused on showing Washington wetlands and ecosystems.

In addition, Bill Nye offered information about ecology and environmental preservation, explaining the topics with a sense of humor, which promptly set the show apart from other educational and scientific series of the time. Due to his success as a host, Bill Nye was invited to appear in Disney’s “All-New Mickey Mouse Club”.

Even before appearing on Disney, Bill Nye had always wanted to create a show for kids, an idea which was reinforced by an encounter he had with Carl Sagan in 1987. Sagan – who had hosted the highly successful “Cosmos” series – told him the series’ concept shouldn’t be about technology and engineering, as Nye had previously thought: ‘He said ‘Focus on pure science. Kids resonate to pure science rather than technology.’, and that turned out to be great advice’.

In 1991 Bill Nye appeared in a real-life segment of “Back to the Future: The Animated Series”. The series was short-lived though, as it ended in 1993.

Bill Nye The Science Guy

Next Bill Nye along with Ross Shafer, the National Science Foundation, Rabbit Ears Productions and Disney Television, created the show “Bill Nye The Science Guy”, in which Nye presented himself wearing a lab coat, showing experiments and offering science information and insights in a simple, entertaining way for kids.

The series resulted in a huge success, breaking records by becoming one of the most watched programs in its category, and winning 19 Emmy Awards during the five years it was on air. The series not only became a reference for children, but also caught the attention of adults.

“Bill Nye The Science Guy” was utilized in schools as an educational resource, and led Nye to publish several books based on it. His appearances in Walt Disney Parks and Ellen’s Energy Adventure were notable as well.

In 1998 the show came to an end, however, it deeply impacted not only television history, but it also changed the popular perception of science. In an interview in 2013 with Seattle Met, Bill Nye said he considered the program’s success as a result of its pioneering and original concept: ‘School curricula do follow us. We pulled it off. That’s why the show has stood the test of time, if you’re asking for a theory’.

The Eyes of Nye & More

After the success “The Science Guy”, Bill Nye wanted to talk about more in-depth topics.

Despite having created the concept of “The Eyes of Nye”, KCTS delayed its production and premier for years, as the company was unsure about the likely success of it. The project was bought by the American Public Television later in 2005, when the show was finally premiered. However, the series wasn’t very successful, and lasted only one season on air.

In the following years Nye, hosted the shows “100 Greatest Discoveries” and “Greatest Inventions With Bill Nye”, and made brief appearances in “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire” and “The Climate Code”. In 2008 he hosted “Stuff Happens” of Planet Green, and worked alongside his fellow science communicator Neil deGrasse Tyson in an episode of “Brain Storm”.

In 2016 Netflix premiered “Bill Nye Saves the World”, a series in which he explores a variety of scientific topics and its impact in people’s everyday life. The series was renewed for three seasons until its end in 2018.

Personal Life

Romantic Life

Bill Nye married Blair Tindall in 2006, though various weeks later he annulled the marriage due to Tindall’s allegedly disrespectful and abusive behaviour towards him, as she supposedly stole items from his house, damaged his propriety, and tried to defame him through emails. He ultimately obtained a restrictive order against her. There are no public details of Bill having any other romantic associations.

Political Views and Advocacy

Bill Nye has openly shown his approval for the Democrat Party, being a close consultant of the Obama administration, and openly supporting Joe Biden during his campaign for the Presidency in 2020.

During an episode of the podcast “Getting Curious” of Jonathan Van Ness, Nye also expressed his pre-occupation regarding Donald Trump’s administration and its negative ecological impact.

Net Worth

As of late 2020, Bill Nye has an estimated net worth of $8 million, which is largely as a result of his works as a TV show host and other media appearances.

Physical Appearance

Bill Nye is a man of white ethnicity – he has brownish-red hair and amber eyes. He’s 6ft 1in (1.85m) tall, but his current weight is unknown.

Interesting Facts

Bill Nye has made two appearances in the popular long-running sitcom “The Big Bang Theory”.

In 2018 he played baseball in the All-Star Legends event, organized by the National League.

He agrees to criminally charging people who would challenge the international climate change consensus: ‘as a taxpayer and voter, the introduction of this extreme doubt about climate change is affecting my quality of life as a public citizen’.

Although he doesn’t suffer from ataxia, his two siblings have been affected by this illness of the nervous system, inherited from their father’s family. This is the reason Bill Nye never had kids, as he’s afraid they would be affected by it.
